 recently purchased the LG 55UH6150 and was "ok" with the purchase. it was in my price range and thought it looked pretty good. I continued to read (bad) reviews and tweak my settings. Again I was happy with it. Then the KU6290 went on sale and I thought I'd give it a shot and return which one lost my comparison test. The KU6290 is hands down a MUCH better TV. The blacks are perfect compared to the LG's "gray" blacks. After I calibrated the 6290 I'm in absolute heaven. The KU6290 has minimal glare when compared to the LG 6150 as well.
This is a great sub $1000 4K TV and have not a single complaint. Though you should take all reviews with a grain of salt, I wish I wouldn't have wasted time with the LG 55UH6150.
